Word Chain is provided by c401s studios.
Information stored by the app
Word Chain stores puzzle progress, completed-day results, statistics, settings, and rejected guesses locally on your device. This information is used to resume games and calculate personal statistics. The current release does not require an account and does not send authored guesses to a c401s studios server.
When you choose Share result, Android's share interface receives a summary made from symbols and strike counts. The summary does not include the puzzle answers. You choose the destination and whether to send it.
Advertising
Word Chain uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display advertisements. Depending on your location, consent choices, device settings, and the ad served, Google and its advertising partners may collect or share information such as IP address (which can indicate approximate location), app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or advertising identifiers. They use this information for advertising, measurement, analytics, security, and fraud prevention. Data sent by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit.
Where required, Word Chain presents Google's consent form before requesting ads. Eligible users can reopen their choices from How to Play → Privacy choices. Device-level advertising controls are available in Android settings.

Children
Word Chain is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and c401s studios does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Data retention and deletion
Local game data remains on the device until the app's storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Advertising data is handled under Google's and applicable advertising partners' retention policies and user controls.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the app's features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when it changes.
